John Faso's live, televised announcement this week that he's running for governor - which you can view here - doesn't exactly speak highly of the state of affairs in New York under the reign of his old Assembly colleague, George Pataki.

And, Faso appears to be making a big effort for the Long Island vote when he says, "Local school property taxes must be capped."
