The Volcker Report on the Oil-for-Food Scandal has ample references to Marc Rich companies acting as intermediaries in questionable transactions - including at least one transaction which closed during the same week former President Clinton approved a pardon for the then-fugitive-from-justice Rich. (Check out the footnotes on page 63.)

According to the report, the Rich companies demanded their role in the Oil-for-Food transactions be kept an absolute secret.
