Still On The Stump
The President is stumping for Social Security reform. Here's the transcript of his appearance in Portsmouth, N.H. yesterday to make a pitch for reform. It's worth reading. But here's one section that jumps out, from a Q & A with the audience, that has nothing to do with Social Security:
It's hard to recall another president in memory (possibly Reagan in some ways) who was as self-deprecating. Think of the last three Democratic presidents: Clinton, Carter, LBJ. "Self-deprecating" doesn't jump to mind about any of them. By Ed Moltzen · 17 February 2005

Deprecate! Posted by: Jeff Hull at February 17, 2005 09:33 AMNoted. Thanks Posted by: Ed at February 17, 2005 09:52 AMQ: Why do Angels have wings? Well, he has to do it himself because he only allows right wing suck-ups into these things. The self-deprecating president continues to self-defecate on freedom and democracy in America, while spreading freedom and democracy fertilizer in the Middle East.
