School, between classes in the student union. I didn't believe it at first...of course, I don't think anyone did. Ditzy girl from down the hall comes up and say "hey, you guys, did you hear that John Lennon was shot & killed?" Neither of us believed her. We looked at each other and concluded that she was lying or didn't know who John Lennon was. We were wrong on the first point and right on the second.
