According to a writer on the New York Radio Message Board, Clear Channel radio stations start playing fewer commercials today.

(Earlier this year, Clear Channel said the fewer-commercial policy would start on Jan. 1, 2005.)

Fewer commercials are still more commercials than satellite. It will be worth keeping an eye (and ear) on, though, to see if it makes much of a difference.
