Momentum or Joe-mentum?
In the Zogby tracking polls, President Bush lost his lead to Sen. John Kerry late last week, chipped away over the weekend, and has edged in front on the day before election day. By a point. Rasmussen also shows a miniscule gain for Bush between Saturday and Sunday. But here's the rub: Kerry has been polling better than Bush every weekend so far. Why not on the last weekend? Not that there is any obsessing over the polls going on, or anything. By Ed Moltzen · 1 November 2004

Good point on the weekend factor. Newt was on Fox over the weekend with that very same point...saying that dems typically track better on weekends because of "travel patterns" Do Republicans typically know how to enjoy themselves on the weekends, and not wait by the phone?
