Who Says Air America Can't Compete?

Al Franken's radio show on Air America has a blog (No permalinks, though). Here's an advance look at his program for tomorrow, Wednesday:

It’s time for another mid-week classic here at the O’Franken Factor.

We’ll have our favorite former right-wing hit man, mediamatters.org founder David Brock, for his usual segment in our second hour. He is the author of The Republican Noise Machine: The Right-Wing Media and How it Corrupts Democracy.

Former Georgia Senator Max Cleland will be on to talk about his new film, “Strong at the Broken Places,” in which Cleland narrates the stories of soldiers in Iraq and their families.

Next, a debate between MoveOn’s Eli Pariser and Move America Forward’s Howard Kaloogian. The two will clash over Michael Moore’s controversial new film, Fahrenheit 9/11. [UPDATE: this has been moved to Thursday.]

Later, we’ll talk to Gus Speth, dean of the Yale school of forestry, co-founder of the Natural Resources Defense Council and former advisor on environmental issues for presidents Carter and Clinton. Speth’s new book is Red Sky at Morning: America and the Crisis of the Global Environment. We’ll talk with him about environmental policy past and present.

All that and much more on The Factor.

Much more? I mean, after Gus Speth? How do they do it? We just may be looking at a ratings giant in the making, folks.

'Move America Forward' is nothing more than a front for a GOP-linked public relations firm, Russo Marsh and Rogers. Yet for some inexplicable reason, the fact that RM+R set up MAF is not mentioned anywhere on the MAF website! I can't imagine why...

Turns out that this firm made 2.5 million dollars from GOP politicians in 2001/2002. And nothing from Democrat politicians. What a surprise.
