Unilateralist presidency update:
An article on March 17 about political pressures on Italy's government to withdraw troops from Iraq referred incorrectly to Britain's involvement in the American-led invasion last year. Troops from the United States and Britain entered Iraq simultaneously, with the British working to occupy the southern part of the country while the Americans moved north to Baghdad. Britain did not wait until after the fall of Baghdad to send troops.
