We're Going In

Sy Hersh in the New Yorker is reporting that Pakistan has given the OK for some U.S. troops to take the bin Laden hunt inside its borders, according to a Reuters report:

Thousands of U.S. troops will be deployed in a tribal area of northwest Pakistan in return for Washington's support of President Pervez Musharraf's pardon of the Pakistani scientist who this month admitted leaking nuclear arms secrets to Iran, Libya and North Korea, investigative reporter Seymour Hersh wrote in the issue that goes on sale on Monday.

This is, essentially, the last corner of the globe where bin Laden has been able to avoid the arm of the U.S. and now we're going in - if Hersh is correct.

My grandson Jackie Dean Shuler is one of the 10th Mountain Infantry Division men in Afganistan at this time..He has a VHS of his company that was shown on 60 Minutes on a Wednesday night in February, 2004 (2/11/04 I think)..His mother and I would like to also get a VHS or CD on this show as we were not aware of it so did not see it..As to my grandson being in on the capture of Bin Lauden that was his life's dream..He has been over there a year and has moved up in rank due to his leadership and his concern for the welfare of his men..He has been badly disappointed up to this point that no one here in the USA knows about what is going over there..All he sees is Iraqi and Baghdad stories..That is why both his mom and I want to see what was televised..His troops were also in Time Magazine on 11/3/03 of which we finally got a copy since we did not know right away when it would come out..PLEASE HELP US GET THIS CD OR VHS FROM 60 MINUTES..THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE IN THIS MATTER
